Who we are
How We're Helping
VSAR conducts frequent search and rescue operations to help reunite families and friends with their loved ones. Most commonly we assist:
- hikers needing help;
- kids and grandkids who’ve lost their way;
- dementia or Alzheimer’s afflicted folks who have wandered from home.
Trained and Ready
Our all-volunteer Posse is state-certified. We’re trained and at the ready to quickly respond when requested. We are the “boots on the ground” men and women who go out when a 911 call comes in to find the lost and those in need of help, at no cost to those we are helping.
We are a nonprofit organization and receive no funding from any source.
